Supporting Women in Need

Homeless women can find a first point of contact at the Obdach Ester in Vienna 365 days a year. This service, especially for women in need, includes a safe room, showers, a laundry room, computer workstations, a quiet room and a kitchen for home cooking.

Advice and support
Social workers answer all the women’s questions in individual discussions: How can I find a place to sleep? Where can I apply for support? Who will accompany me on the way to my own apartment? Who can I turn to if I have health or emotional problems?

We not only could supply the much-needed hygiene products to the women who rely on them at Obdach Ester, but we were also able to gather clothes, coats, jackets, blankets, hats, and gloves, from our community to help the ladies stay warm in the cold winter months!
